Flor de Caña 7 year rum
Santa Teresa Orange Rhum liqueur
Yellow Chartreuse
blood orange
lemon juice
cinnamon bitters
Muddle 1/4 blood orange (peeled). Combine and shake ingredients. Fine strain into a bucket and garnish with a blood orange half-moon.
There's something about blood oranges that makes people go crazy. We used up two and a half bottles of rum that night, which means that one out of four people ordered a Monk's Blood.

Hmm, This could get confusing....
Monk's Blood - dark strong Belgian ale.

True... but since that was the only time we're likely to run this drink, I think it's okay. No major intellectual property lines crossed!
